A Cub Scout learns the basics of the scouting by spending time together in small groups with shared experiences.
They are given opportunities to participate in events with the older Boy Scouts to get familiar with activities that they would soon experience on a daily basis.
Some of the events that Cub Scouts participate in include hiking, camping, first aid, and activities that the older scouts would participate in.
